True to its name, The Fierce Diaries is a fashion blog that has taken the online fashion world in the UAE by storm. Even more fierce is its creator, Nadya Hasan, a 22 year old, petite fashion-breathing-living, UAE girl. Recently celebrating The Fierce Diaries’ 2nd year anniversary, Nadya Hasan has made her mark by enticing over 2,500 people who follow and support her religiously on Facebook, Twitter and her website, http://thefiercediaries.com/, with her impeccable style and trend-posts that show off her ability to incorporate it into everyday living and reveal the latest.
It’s not very often that you see a young girl with a passion for fashion being acknowledged by major fashion power-houses such as Christian Louboutin and Kenzo, just to name a few.
Along with stepping out in her favorite pair of Giuseppe Zanottis and making a memorable fashion statement, she is also a true supporter of creative and commendable local/GCC talent with the likes of Fozaza ( by Alanoud Badr), MAKE Business Hub (by Leith Matthews) and Fyunka (by Alaa Balkhy). The mentioned have all been featured in The Fierce Diaries blog and if it weren’t for Nadya’s posts, I’d be completely oblivious to the above and other marvelous trends.
Thanks to Nadya and this creative blog that she calls The Fierce Diaries, the UAE can live out real fashion fantasies. Here’s to supporting a woman who in all her right, is on her way to becoming a world famous fashion blogger from a little town called Dubai.

Located in the heart of the Dubai Ladies Club in Jumeirah, this little sugar-coated experience is a must for all pamper-loving women. Ample of parking and easy to locate, The DollHouse is a vibrant and beautiful little salon created by Mona Kattan and Basma Al Fahim that strives to deliver the finest services and quality. Needless to say, signed, sealed, delivered.
Exceeding my expectations with its impressive decor and color choice, friendly staff (special shoutout to Dolly and Myrna), vast range of Essie, OPI, Ciate, Zoya paint-pots that can be purchased, delicious little delicacies and refreshments, this little wonder is a definite winner. The Dollhouse offers various services such as nail art, tanning and some commendable facials, just to name a few. Shelves are decked with brands ranging from Redken to L’oreal and airwaves are filled with creative mixes of all the latest tunes which indeed contributed to some real good vibes.
The DollHouse nail station is packed with beautiful colors, all keeping with the latest trends. Given that I went with one of my girls, fighting for a box full of nail studs that ranged from stars to squares to leaves wasn’t much of a surprise given their amazing and numerous options. Opting for a simple nude Essie and stud design manicure and pedicure, my 60 minutes at The DollHouse were well-spent. A mani-pedi plus a little chocolate treat and some real nice vibes for an affordable price? I’ll give myself about a week or two before I visit The DollHouse again.

Home to the tallest building in the world and an ever-growing hub of talent, Dubai is unanimously the ‘IT’ spot of the Middle East. Skyscrapers all equivalent to the talent that this city harnesses. Highlighting big dreams of young kids and acknowledging legitimate quality of born-breds from Dubai is necessary. It’s vital. It’s powerful.
